Why I Rate Taser Gun Above the Rest of Self Defense Weapons?

With a lot of self defense weapons available in the market, it is extremely difficult to figure out the best among them. However, after using a variety of weapons, I have found a taser gun as the most effective weapon for protection. 

Now, I rate it above all the weapons for a few reasons. Today, I will unfold these reasons. Following reasons suggest why I rate taser gun above rest of self defense weapons:

Above all: The Distance Use

The most prominent factor that makes a taser gun better than all other weapons is the ability to use it from a distance. In a self defense situation, the ideal weapon you require is the one that keeps you away from the attacker. 

You may use a knife or a stun gun. Yes, they are useful, but you need to be closer to the attacker to inflict damage. Moving towards the attacker is a very dangerous move. 

Taser allows you to cause damage from a distance. Hence, you can stay at a safe distance and still inflict severe damage.

The Ease to Carry

The ease of carrying a weapon is a massive factor that determines its worth. If your weapon is too big or too dangerous to carry, it isn’t worth carrying it. 

Taser gun is generally a small sized device that can easily fit into your pocket. It is incredibly small and safe to carry. 

You can walk comfortably while carrying it in your pocket. There is no chance of accidental damage because it can only work if you pull its trigger. 

The Ease to Use

Another significant factor that urges me to use a taser gun is the ease of using it. I have never found such an easy weapon in my entire life. It works like a real pistol. 

There is a trigger, and you need to pull that trigger to cause damage. When you pull the trigger, it shoots two electrodes. 

These electrodes travel to some distance and touch to the body of the attacker. These electrodes connect to form a circuit. Hence, a strong electrical shock is delivered. 

Enough Damage

Taser gun is not a very lethal weapon, but it inflicts enough damage to save you from the attackers. As mentioned above, you have to pull the trigger to shoot two electrodes. 

These electrodes travel to some distance and touch to the body of the attacker. These electrodes connect to form a circuit. These electrodes can deliver a powerful electrical shock to immobilize the attacker. 

He would be stunned and unable to move. Also, this will continue for a reasonable period of time. Before he gets back on his feet, you will have enough time to escape. 

Ideal for Women

Women are the most vulnerable individuals to attacks. Most attackers find it easier to attack and victimize women because either they are equipped or they don’t carry lethal weapons. 

I am not encouraging women to carry lethal weapons, but I am encouraging them to carry a taser gun. It has everything you're looking for as a woman. It is small and non lethal, but it can cause serious damage. 

You just need to pull the trigger, and it will do the rest. A powerful electrical shock will ensure to pout the attacker down and also, allow you to survive. 

So, these are some of the factors that urge me to rate taser over other self defense weapons!

It was basically a knife for close quarter combat. The soldiers who were fighting in trenches needed knives that were impossible to disarm. Hence, these were ideal knives in such situations. 

Why Did the Soldiers Use Trench Knives?

The US soldiers used trench knives because these knives were pretty advantageous in close quarter combat. They were pretty promising fighting knives. The foremost advantage was that they were wearable. 

There was a knuckle duster which allowed the soldiers to wear it around their knuckles. Then, they had the blade to work with. They could use the blade to fight their enemies. In close quarter combat, there is a brawl that takes place, and hence, there is every chance that you lose your weapon. 

But when the knife was worn around the knuckles, it was impossible to disarm these soldiers. Another advantage was that they could use two weapons at the same time. 

The knuckles were very hard and they could punch their enemies with knuckles. So, it was a deadly warfare weapon that proved extremely advantageous for them. 

Was Trench Knife Used for Warfare Again?

Trench knife was used as a primary fighting weapon during World War I. However, during the Second World War, it was no longer a pure fighting knife. Rather, it was used as a secondary fighting weapon. 

Firearms served as real fighting weapons, but every soldier was equipped with this knife as a secondary weapon. After that, it was not a fighting weapon. It was then used for self defense, and now, it is one of the best collectibles for modern enthusiasts. 

Is Trench Knife Still Used Today?

Trench knife is now known as a brass knuckle knife. It is basically considered a collectible. However, people do use it for other purposes. The modern enthusiasts find it as the best collectible. 

You would see people placing it on display as a decor item. However, it is a great self defense weapon. It can serve as your savior against the attackers. People are using it to battle the attackers. 

Of course, the advantage is the use of two weapons at the same time. You are allowed to use a blade and a knuckle duster against the attacker at the same time to survive!
